Our founder's journey

FourEyes Consulting was born of the idea that people can do great things when provided with the right tools and support tailored to their needs.

Our founder, Ian Young, created FourEyes to help organisations and their teams create environments where people and businesses can thrive.

In his own words:

My decision to move away from a career as a corporate executive and leader, and ultimately start FourEyes Consulting, had its genesis in the belief that when looking in a mirror:

Leaders must take a humble pride in their own reflection.

This belief came to me many years ago after a terrible motorcycle accident. It was frightening and painful. Frankly, I might have died.

As I recovered in hospital, I reflected deeply upon my life up to that point. I thought about what drives me and how I relate to the people and places around me.

When I could walk again, I made my way to the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. I realiesd I was not living to my full potential and it was then I decided that pursuing material success and influence was no longer enough. Moreover I realised I geniunely wanted to spend the rest of my career helping others grow and reach their full potential.

In doing this I made a promise to look myself in the mirror each day, and ask:

"Have I been a good person today and how can I be a better person tomorrow?"

Hence FourEyes, mine and those reflected back to me in the mirror.

Ian Young

FOUNDER AND DIRECTOR

Ian is a results-focused executive coach and leadership consultant with over twenty years of commercial and operational experience. As an executive coach and leadership consultant, Ian has worked with many leading companies and Federal government departments. He has worked with senior executives and leaders as well as high-calibre graduates and emerging leaders.

Ian has designed and delivered many bespoke commercially focused interventions. The interventions have equipped and developed individuals, teams and organisations to better deliver results and achieve strategic goals.

Marina Reid-Wilson

ASSOCIATE

Marina Reid-Wilson is a highly regarded registered psychologist and leadership consultant.

She has successfully delivered coaching and workshops that focus on increasing leadership performance and well-being.

She has worked with a wide range of clients including leaders from the legal, financial services and medical sectors

Marina is a highly regarded corporate psychologist having practiced with a number of private companies, including Prime Practice, CompAssess and Christie Consulting.

  • Masters of Science (Coaching Psychology), University of Sydney
  • Grad. Dip Psychology, ANU
  • Bachelor of Arts, Monash University.

Caoimhe (Keeva) Richmond

ASSOCIATE

Caoimhe (Keeva) Richmond is a skilled leadership consultant, and coach.

Her goal is to work with individuals, teams and organisations to enhance performance and to reach their full potential at work.

Caoimhe has worked with a range of teams and leaders from public and private sectors, including banking, finance and government clients.

In coaching, she aims to facilitate leaders reaching their potential and sustain high levels of performance by building rapport, setting goals and challenging current thinking patterns.

Charlie Brockoff

ASSOCIATE

Charlie Brockoff is a highly successful leadership coach and consultant.

He is a highly experienced Master Certified Coach, helping leaders deliver exceptional performance since 2007.

Charlie is pragmatic and outcome oriented with a systemic, solution focused approach which delivers long term sustainable change.

Prior coaching Charlie was a successful leader with senior roles in global organisations

He has worked with a range of clients including Executive Government engagements focused on building effective teams and wider engagement.
