A relevant case study

A central agency within a large Victorian Government Department was grappling with integrating previously disparate Branches, and improving its  performance whilst undergoing significant change within its leadership team.

FourEyes helped craft a solution.

Situation

The Agency’s leadership team had undergone significant flux. Simultaneously Agency priorities and structures were changing. Improving organisational alignment, creating ‘purpose-clarity’, fostering collaboration and performance, whilst maintaining broader staff engagement, all contributed this challenge.

Complication

Creating an engaging and inclusive intervention - where all had a voice, were able to contribute and walked away with strategic and operational clarity – was made more challenging due to Covid-19 lockdowns and the limitations of using an on-line virtual delivery format.

Solution and outcome

Using the Agency’s strategic priorities as an anchor, FourEyes tailored workshops that built Collective Purpose, and the planning, processes and capabilities of high performance. The workshops defined the Agency’s collaborative processes, the interdependences between Branches, and the key behaviours that would enable the delivery of their organisational goals and deliverables. These elements improved the Agency’s strategic alignment and clarity and performance, their delivery capability and helped drive broader staff engagement.
